Art for Aids

Art for Aids

This month I’m part of a charity that is raising funds for the Richard B. Fried Fund which provides help to those battling AIDS and HIV.

On Saturday, June 19, 2010, we invite you to be part of the Connecticut AIDS Resource Coalition’s Art for AIDS fundraiser to benefit the Richard B. Fried Fund, CARC’s Endowment Fund. Our goal is to raise funds to help support people living with HIV/AIDS in Connecticut as we enjoy an evening of art, music, food, wine and dancing at ArtSpace in Hartford.

Special features of the event include, open wine bar, delectable appetizers & pasta stations by Salute restaurant, music by Jason Villani a.k.a. DJ Lord Lewis, Art Show/Sale and an exciting Art Grab featuring canvases donated by Jerry’s Artarama and designed by 100 local area artists.

These are the two pieces I have showing at the event.
The 12X12 is a donation that will be part of the ‘art grab’. The 12×24 will be available for sale with a portion of the sale going to the charity. If you’re in the area please stop by and check it out. I will be there along with many of the other artists.
